As the #ScrantonCalligrapher, I wanted to create a collection of work that celebrate our home. And yes, Scranton — like “The Office,” and also yes, Scranton rocks!
The Cathedral was built in 1867 and the complex includes a rectory (1908) and a convent. The Cathedral features a center ceiling made up of eight panels painted by Gonippo Raggi and can seat approximately 1,000. It is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
