Scranton Lace Building Print
Scranton Lace Building Print
As the #ScrantonCalligrapher, I wanted to create a collection of work that celebrate our home. And yes, Scranton — like “The Office,” and also yes, Scranton rocks!
The Scranton Lace Company began in 1890 and was the largest producer of Nottingham Lace in the United States. The factory featured a theatre, bowling alley, gym, infirmary, and of course - this Clocktower. The factory complex is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
