Attention Scranton couples — this is not a drill.

When you’re planning a wedding, who do you trust to create Pinterest-worthy reception dreaminess? Often (and sometimes regretfully) we have to go on blind trust. That truly just makes wedding planning even more stressful than your parents guilting you into inviting your high school music teacher.

As a pro wedding invitation designer and calligrapher, I work with and meet a lot of wedding vendors that I know provide their clients with excellent service, creative expertise, and knowledge. However, I also know (from experience) that there isn’t an easy place to find them without feeling like you might have missed someone who would *totally make you look like a movie star.*

I bet you’re already thinking "I could just Google this.”

And yep, you can. Google is my favorite thing ever, actually. But I’m betting you’ve tried that and felt overwhelmed. An internet search or giant wedding website can give you lots of results but a curated list of vetted talent is way more manageable, trustworthy, and literally sets you up for success. Plus — not every vendor lists their work on wedding websites or Google anyway!

Let’s also address the fact that not everyone’s wedding style is the same. I totally get that. You can expect stylistic variety in the LWB, too. My goal is not to overwhelm you with every vendor in our local Scranton community but a selection of pros I would hire. Maybe there’s a few you’ve never even heard of, too.

Think of it as a friend’s recommendation — because that’s exactly what it is.

As an aside, none of these businesses/artists were aware they would be included as it’s done jury-style. Their being included was based on the quality of their work, double-checking online reviews from past clients, and from personal experience working with them.
