If you could see through this screen, you’d see me shaking my head too, cause I’ve been there.
Sure, Google is a good place to start but it’s easy to miss some really stellar talent along the way. I’ve always known Scranton to have amazingly creative, established wedding pros but it is overwhelming tracking them all down. Asking grandma isn’t always helpful either since wedding trends and businesses start and change quickly. This guide was born out of the desire to pick from the best — making sure you have a great starting (and maybe even finishing) point to your planning experience.
While this is surely not an exhaustive list of everyone local in the industry, this is a list of pros I would hire. People that have a specific style, reputation, and level of professionalism I expect. Do they all have the same look? Of course not! I know not everyone wants a barn-style wedding (though I have plenty of gorgeous options for those who do), so expect a bit of variety. And let me be clear — no money is exchanged to be featured in the LWB! It’s important that you know that you can trust this list was made with good and pure intentions, no asterisks involved.
I am always on the lookout for new talent as well, so keep an eye out for updates along the way. I hope you find someone to work with you both love and enjoy the talents of all these ‘friendors’ as much as I do.
