Invitations and save the dates are the first item your guests see and will set the tone for your entire event. From the paper you choose to the finishing details, we consider every element important in communicating your aesthetic. When working with us, we'll elevate every aspect of your big day and make sure everything works together and infuse elements of your own personality. We love to incorporate illustrations, paintings, calligraphy, and finishing touches like vellum wraps. How about a wax seal with a custom monogram? We’re living for it and are sure your guests will be, too.

You will mail your invitations 6-8 weeks before your event. Everything we create is one of a kind and so we prefer to begin working on your custom suite six months or more before your event. Contact us if your timeline will be different. We recommend booking custom invitations early as there are a limited number of openings we can accommodate per season.

Pricing varies greatly depending on quantity, printing method, and additional pieces such as maps, envelope liners, wax seals and any other extras. Once we know your estimated budget and quantities, we will create a proposal for your project and have that over to you within approximately two business days.

about Our design process

Once we have your basic information, including quantity, special request items, and printing type, we will move into a proposal and contract to secure our services and design. A deposit of 50% of your estimated design cost from the proposal will be due with the signing of the contract. Once this is completed, you’ll also get a stationery questionnaire. These are the details that would help inspire and direct the overall aesthetic of your stationery.

We will create a sketch and/or mood board to map out our ideas for all the pieces we have planned for you. From this sketch, we plan out your artwork, custom lettering, paper types, and assembly details. We use this sketch to inspire and inform us on how your suite will work together. This sketch also ensures we are all on the same page in terms of design, color, and formalities.

Next, you'll receive a full-color digital proof with your design layouts, custom calligraphy, artwork, and event details. We include three rounds of proofing with our initial timeline estimates. Additional proofs can add 1-2 weeks to your timeline and be billable at $65/hr. Final proofs must be signed off on before they can go into production; it’s very important to proofread for errors as this is the last chance we’ll have to correct any errors.

Following printing, we may address, assemble, stamp, and stuff all your envelopes or mail the pieces to you for these last details. Final payment will be due before your pieces are postmarked and/or shipped back to you.
